DAY 100! – One Year Spin

😃

Wow, guys! 100 days!

I honestly feel so happy that I started doing this 100 days ago. I read somewhere that your actions today need to be for the person you want to be one year from now, and I finally feel like I did that! I have never done anything like this in my entire life. After everything I’ve been through and what I’ve done afterward, I honestly feel invincible. I could tackle anything. I can do anything!

I don’t always feel like that in the midst of struggles (especially after last night, another night of no sleep), but if you keep on going, the bad and good feelings ebb and flow. On a semi-related note, my little guy is getting his two year molars! This means the disrupted sleep schedule and fever and everything is TEMPORARY. Thank the Lord! I was really struggling to see light at the end of this tunnel. Teething is no joke.

My initial plan for today was to do something like 100 minutes of Peloton on Day 100. But, as I mentioned, I got about 4 hours of interrupted sleep. I’m going to just do what I can. Silverlining though, I’m almost done with my work hours.

Day 100

Since I wanted today to be a little special, I decided to do my first power zone ride! I loved it! You aren’t given a cadence or resistance to keep up with, but a “zone” (there are 7) to stay within. These zones are unique to you and your fitness level, so you take the test and that decides what output numbers decide which zone you’re in. This was an endurance ride, so he didn’t have me go above zone 3, but we spent a long time there. I can’t wait to do more of them! But I am a little afraid of the “power zone max” classes. I’ll save that for a day after a rest day.

Day 100

This class was literally just for fun. Ally is always so positive and uplifting. I meant this to be extra burned calories and an enjoyable ride, and I never went crazy on the resistance, but I still did really well in the rankings! I haven’t done my strength training yet; but I will.

You are technically supposed to do strength before cardio, and I would do that if I could, but this isn’t a perfect world and I’m doing the best I can!

xoxo,

Sarah
