Obviously, I can’t adequately express how much I love my Peloton. I’m going to do my best!
A Peloton is so much more than an exercise bike. I’ve had exercise equipment before that sat in the corner of my room collecting dust. This is NOT that piece of equipment. They have a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you’re on the fence.. just do it! Trust me! The app tracks your progress and achievements, the trainers are amazing, the community is supportive. Peloton makes it easy to stick with your goals.
There is a CycleBar in my area and I looked into prices so I could try a “real” spin class instead of the at-home Peloton version, and the price is CRAZY. I could pay for about 1.5 classes at CycleBar with the amount I pay monthly for the Peloton. If you compare Peloton to cycling studios, Peloton has the cost-savings. $39 a month is about 1/3 of the price of a CrossFit gym. However, if you currently spend 0 dollars on the gym or exercise at all, it’s going to be an increase to your budget. You just have to decide what’s worth it to you. I think that having a piece of equipment that makes me want to exercise is priceless for my health!
Since the Peloton lives in your home, you can fit exercise into you schedule anytime you need or want. As a single mom, this is priceless for me. Sometimes it’s late at night after my son goes to bed, sometimes it’s before he wakes up for the day. Sometimes it’s during nap time! Whatever your schedule or responsibility level, Peloton can fit into your life.
I feel so good now that I’ve been riding the Peloton every day for over two months. It’s hard to describe, but even breathing feels comfortable. Not that it didn’t before (or not that I noticed), but it’s definitely noticeably better now. I actually can’t wait to go in for my next check up – my blood pressure is probably so much better! I can also tell my body shape is changing and I’m finally building back some of the quad muscle I lost during the quarantine!
